Hello, I filed a complaint (no. 117815) which you acknowledged on May 4th, and since then nothing has happened. Yet there is a risk of a potentially fatal accident (it only requires adjusting a mirror). I had to call the municipal police to try to move the case forward by having them witness my situation, which they did.

I drop my daughter off at the nanny's every day. At the yield sign at the bottom of her cul-de-sac, there is a mirror installed on the opposite sidewalk. It allows you to see what's coming up from the right, because the turn is blind and people drive fast. At the end of the day, I turn left to go home, and the mirror is out of alignment; you can no longer see what's coming up from the right. My daughter sits in the back right seat of my car, so in case of a collision, the worst could happen! Twice last week, I was terrified despite being careful!

Clearly there aren't enough traffic accident victims; an internship with the emergency medical services would be a good way to make you realize the danger...

Have a good day.

I encountered several problems when calling the Brive town hall.

On my first call, I could hear the switchboard buttons ringing, then nothing, with no response despite my "hello."

I called back a second time and felt I received an unprofessional welcome, with an exchange that seemed inappropriate before the call was disconnected.

I tried calling back several times, without success: either no one answered, or the call just rang and rang. But from what I heard, there was clearly someone behind that phone who didn't want to do their job.

It's a shame to encounter these kinds of difficulties, especially for a public service that's supposed to be accessible and responsive.

If you don't like this job, and you're not capable of doing your job properly, what are you doing in this field?

The welcome and service provided by our staff at the town hall is excellent; thank you to them. However, it should be noted that the extremely unpleasant noise coming from the drinks vending machine in the waiting room and corridor of the civil registry offices is a significant issue. Please be considerate of the staff working in this department, as continuous exposure to this noise and these sound frequencies can be a health concern.
